Block Tower Breakdown

An endless variant on the classic Breakout game. How large a score can you get?

An intended entry for the Newgrounds competition. Not quite finished, might add more power-ups and maybe tweak some things before submission. To move the paddle, use the [Left Arrow] and [Right Arrow] keys, or touch the screen, or use the mouse. Press [Up Arrow] or release touch/mouse click to release the ball. Don’t drop the ball!

Over time, more blocks come down, and they get harder to break, and the ball gets faster. They also drop power-ups periodically. These range from ‘catching’ the ball, multi-ball, super-balls, and a wider paddle. There’s also power-downs that freeze the paddle and make it narrower, so be careful.
